Guido van der Ven Senior Vice President, Corporate Finance

Guido van der Ven is senior vice president of corporate finance and serves on the company’s securitization structuring team and manages the company’s pension- and benefit-related investment portfolios. In addition, he is responsible for all debt investor relations and regulatory relations for capital markets.

Prior to joining Sallie Mae in 1989, Mr. van der Ven worked for the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System and for Chemical Bank.

Mr. van der Ven received a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from SUNY Geneseo, a Master of Arts degree in applied economics from Binghamton University and a Master of Business Administration degree in finance and investments from George Washington University.
