Somsak Chivavibul is senior vice president for financial planning and analysis. He manages the company’s business and transaction modeling, forecasting, budgeting, financial analysis and management reporting.

Before joining Sallie Mae in 1992 as a financial analyst, Mr. Chivavibul was a senior accountant at Ernst & Young.

Mr. Chivavibul received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Maryland.
