Tom Joyce Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications

Tom Joyce is senior vice president of corporate communications and leads the company’s internal and external communications. 

Before joining Sallie Mae, Mr. Joyce was partner and corporate practice chair for Minneapolis-based Carmichael Lynch Spong, a full-service public relations and advertising firm. He also served as vice president of public affairs for American Express Financial Advisors, leading the company’s local and national communications, and directed communications at Prudential Financial.

Mr. Joyce received a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from Seton Hall University.

He serves on the board of the Posse Foundation in Washington, D.C.
