Student - new Stafford Loan borrower

As a new borrower, you will need to:

Create a new account; Log in and complete a loan record that your school has already forwarded to us on your behalf.
Complete entrance loan counseling online. (You must complete this step prior to submitting your loan application.)
Provide two (2) separate adult references with their name, full mailing address, phone number and email address.
Electronically sign the Master Promissory Note (MPN).

Parent - new PLUS Loan borrower

To apply for a PLUS loan:

Create a new account and log in.
Complete the credit approval form. A credit check will be performed and a credit decision will be displayed.
If approved, you will be prompted to complete the rest of the loan application. Once completed, the school will retrieve this information to certify the loan so that the funds may be sent to the school on behalf of the student.
