- who are not U.S. citizens and
- who are attending a U.S. college or university in short-term study abroad programs or full-time enrollment, toward a full degree.

Sallie Mae Residency and Relocation LoanSM
The Sallie Mae Residency and Relocation Loan can help medical and dental students with the expenses associated with finding a residency, including travel to interviews and relocation costs, that are not covered by federal student loan programs.
Non-U.S. citizens and non-permanent residents attending school outside the U.S. are not eligible for Sallie Mae student loans.
