Jack Lavin is executive vice president and CEO of the Asset Performance Group (APG).

Mr. Lavin joined Sallie Mae in 2004 as part of the acquisition of Arrow Financial Services, a leading accounts receivable management business, where he served as president and CEO from 1999 to 2007. Before that, he held positions at Citibank, Drexel Burnham Lambert and Bankers Trust in New York, London and Chicago, where he gained experience in banking, capital markets, international finance and derivative markets.

Mr. Lavin received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from University of Wisconsin–Madison and a Masters of Business Administration degree from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.

Mr. Lavin serves on the Dean’s Advisory Board at University of Wisconsin–Madison, School of Business, and is a member of the Board of Directors of the OSA Foundation. He is also a member of the Advisory Board of Thunderbird’s Center for Global Entrepreneurship.
