I need account information. Where can I contact a representative for assistance?
By logging into your Manage Your Loans (MYL) account, you can send us an email addressing your issues. Once you have logged in to MYL, please select "Email Us" in the Customer Support dropdown box at the top of the page.

What is the status of my new loan?
There are a variety of ways to check the status of your new loan.
- Manage Your Loans: If you have a Manage Your Loans user ID and password, log in and choose the Pending New Loans section from the Account Summary page drop-down menu.
- Federal Stafford loans: Loan status can be obtained from OpenNet.
- Private student loans (except Career Training): Please contact our Private Loan Department toll free at 800-695-3317 or by email at pco@salliemae.com.
- Career Training loans: Please email SLM Financial at slmfinancial.private@salliemae.com.

What information do I need to complete my pending loan application?
You will receive notification by email or postal mail detailing the documentation and information required to complete your loan request. For additional information, please refer to the following:
- Manage Your Loans: If you have a Manage Your Loans user ID and password, log in and choose the Pending New Loans section from the Account Summary page drop-down menu.
