Sallie Mae prides itself on being an industry leader, a responsible financial manager, and a good corporate citizen. We were honored to receive the 2006 Ron Brown Award for Corporate Leadership—a Presidential Award for outstanding achievement in employee and community relations—that recognized three programs developed by The Sallie Mae Fund to help underserved students reach college.
