  1. Social Security number.
  2. Alien registration number (if eligible non-citizen).
  3. Driver's license number and state.
  4. Employer contact information.
  5. Information for two references.

Student information

  1. Social Security number.
  2. Alien registration number (if eligible non-citizen).

    Completing your PLUS Master Promissory Note (MPN).

    Apply every year

    If I have an MPN, do I have to reapply for student loans each year?

    Yes. The MPN is a promise to pay. It generally lasts 10 years, but it is not a loan application.
